Nice piece, albeit sad, sickening, and sobering. It was my understanding that it was Lord Robert Baden-Powell who invented concentration camps during the Boer War, but perhaps he was just one of several planners. I always thought it was ironic, since he's the founder of the boyscouts and the person who coined the phrase: "do a good turn daily."
